It was in the cradle of the French spectacles manufacturing industry (in the Haut-Jura region) that Denis Buffard
decided to create the firm Folomi in 1993.
Having the opportunity to obtain the exclusive worldwide licence
for the Laguiole brand one year later enabled
the launch of his very first collection, which was very distinctive and consisted of only 8 models!
At that time, the company combined know-how and tradition in order to manufacture very high-quality glasses and
benefited from major advantages: the attractiveness of a new concept linked to values experiencing widespread
popularity - nature, the land, and awareness of the Laguiole brand and a close affinity with it.
These days, Folomi is a dynamic, responsive company with over 100 models in its catalogue!
The company’s success is now based on the manufacture of attractive, refined eyewear combining quality,
